The majority of snorers are unaware of the health benefits of eating organic produce, especially when it comes to fighting off a variety of sleeping disorders including heavy, consistent snoring. On the other hand, those who have adopted an organic lifestyle are seldom affected by sleeping disorders. Supporters of modern sleep medicine have often claimed that they are getting closer and closer to multiple breakthroughs. Bad sleeping habits are out of control in this country. There are children sleeping less than the recommended 8 hours per day, and they tend to snore rather loudly. Perfectly healthy young individuals can’t get proper sleep because of their bed partners snoring problem, and they end up fighting constantly over such matter. People who don't get adequate sleep—in the long run—often develop all kinds of health-debilitating illnesses.

So why is modern medicine failing us? Why so many of us snore loudly as well consistently?

The answer lies with what we put in our bodies on a day-to-day basis. We humans, and especially Americans—in our lifetimes—typically consume hundreds, even thousands of pounds of unhealthy chemicals in our bodies via processed foods.

Think about it: before we started adding plenty of extra chemical ingredients to our food and plasticizing all sorts of things, did people from the older era suffer from multiple sleeping disorders? Did children from the older era under the age of ten actually snore at night?
The answer to both questions is NO.

And that's because they weren’t on a diet that’s saturated with toxic chemicals, they didn't take chemical drugs for every illness or ache they had. So what we need is healthier foods that are of better quality. Not foods that are full of hard-to-pronounce ingredients that someone wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole if they ever saw them on their own, without being mixed into the food.

Eating organic allows one to raise a healthy family that are less likely to suffer from multiple sleeping disorders such as snoring and narcolepsy. Those who live an organic lifestyle have realized this. Modern medicine and big food companies casually shrug their shoulders and claim that the health benefits of eating organic produce do not exist, and that snoring happens to some people no matter what.

To top it off, many people say that in a box of cereal, fast food meal box, a bag of potato chips, etc the amount of synthetic pesticides, additives, colorings and whatever else they put in there, are so miniscule, that they won’t affect the health of the individual who consumes them.

And yes, most people who eat organic foods as well as those who don’t, are usually in agreement that in very small quantities, those processed ingredients won’t cause any major damage or disrupt cellular processes that take place. But what if we were to eat meals that contain additives and colorings every day? That will amount to A LOT, right?

For argument’s sake, let’s say we eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals that have synthetic additives, colorings and other processed ingredients in them. And let’s say we eat them almost daily. Goodness...just imagine putting those things in your body day in, and day out?

If we were to measure the small amounts of these chemicals in total, by the time someone reaches their thirties, they would have probably consumed thousands of pounds of these chemicals. No wonder people in the modern age tend to snore a lot!

Now I'm not sure what most people consider as ''small amounts'' but thousands of pounds is not likely to be categorized as small by anyone! People who consume organic produce and live the organic lifestyle do not pump their bodies with chemicals every day. As a result, their throat air passages are in much better condition, which means they are less likely to experience snoring disorders.

In addition to making people become much less prone to snoring, eating organic produce provides other health benefits like the following:

  • Less chances of developing cancer, heart diseases, and many other degenerative diseases that so many people suffer in this modern age
  • Can help one lose body fat weight, and this is a good thing for snorers with excess fatty tissue around the throat
  • Can help one become very energetic
  • Provides clearer skin, beautiful hair and nails
  • Improves one’s immune system

Living the organic lifestyle means you should avoid buying groceries at regular supermarkets, and instead buy them at health food stores that carry organic products. Those who eat organic foods usually take very good care of themselves. They are not just careful about what they put in their bodies, but also what they put ON their bodies.

For example, a friend once told me he wasn't worried about using body care products with synthetic chemicals because he doesn't have to eat it after all—he just puts it on his skin. Now, having a background in science and medicine, I laughed at that statement because the skin absorbs 60% of what it comes in contact with, which is why we use lotions as well as creams for various conditions.

If the skin didn't absorb what we put on it, then there wouldn't be any point to bathing ourselves because we wouldn't be at risk for getting dirt or bacteria in our body if the skin didn't absorb what we put on it!

The human body doesn't work by simply using certain substances while politely ignoring others. It is a sensitive part of our bodies that is able to come to terms to everything we are exposed to. Many chemicals in food can mimic estrogen, which could explain why so many females can't even have an uneventful menstrual cycle.

Chemicals can mimic a lot of hormones, and they damage the structure of valuable enzymes that are vital to many cellular processes. Over time the function of the enzyme will change because of the exposure to chemicals. When an enzyme changes, the mechanism it is part of is disrupted.

What results is a halting of the mechanism, or uncontrollable expression of a mechanism (like overgrowth of cells attributed to cancer), or a new but not favorable mechanism taking place. Basically, all these things can lead to a host of ailments which include heavy snoring.

Those who are on organic food diet usually do not spend thousands of dollars on healthcare because they don't have many health problems. So now, are you interested in going on an organic diet? Well, before one goes on an organic diet program in order to quit snoring; one usually needs to go on a detox or a cleansing phase so that the health benefits can be derived maximally.

A cleansing phase allows one’s body to eliminate the harmful residues left over from eating chemical-laden foods. Europeans are way ahead of Americans when it comes to living healthy and organic. Organic food is plentiful in European stores and markets as opposed to being restricted to the dark, fly-ridden corner of the Wal-Mart produce section. Italy alone is a huge producer of organic food.

Organic food is simply a part of life in Italy (one of the reasons why the food there is so good!), and Italians consume nearly 70%-80% organic produce on a day to day basis. Also, I read a magazine article a while back that Italians do not snore as much. Organic foods are partly responsible for that!

France alone put out around 300 new organic skincare lines last year, and in Britain, organic skincare and food are in high demand. Greece is also big in the organic food movement, as well as Ireland and several other countries. Europeans have long found anything too synthetic as ''unnatural'' and tend to stay away.
